Kirinyaga AA
Electric and juicy — the Kenyan that converts people to filter coffee.
blackcurrantgrapefruitcane sugar
The story
A washed AA from the Kabare co-op in Kirinyaga, grown on volcanic soil at the foot of Mount Kenya. SL28 and SL34 varietals give it the blackcurrant-and-grapefruit punch Kenya is famous for, with enough cane sugar underneath to keep it from being austere. We roast it light and brew it as filter only.
